New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam on October 12 greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Durga 'puja' (festival), which will be celebrated on October 13.

"On the auspicious occasion of Durga 'puja', I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens. Goddess Durga epitomises the concentration of energy to achieve good over evil," the President said in his message.

Conveying his good wishes, Kalam said, "May this festival inspire all of us to put together our energies for producing an indomitable spirit to achieve our goal of a developed and progressive nation."
