New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam on October 12 has appreciated the concept of "Territorial Army "and the opportunity it gave to citizens to don military uniform and receive military training.

Talking to a group of Territorial Army personnel, led by its chief Maj Gen Dalvir Singh, who called on him on October 11 evening, the President shared his vision with them of making the country developed by 2,020.

He said "Territorial Army" provided the citizens military training during their spare time.
