Bangalore: A police sub-inspector travelling in the pilot car of Karnataka Governor
T N Chaturvedi, died on the spot, and an armed constable and the driver were injured
when a Tamil Nadu lorry rammed into their vehicle on a national highway near Kora in
Tumkur district on October 12, police said.
Police said the driver, who received head injuries, was admitted to National
Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences and the constable to Sanjay Gandhi
hospital in Bangalore.
The Governor is safe and proceeded to attend a function at Chitradurga, police said.
