'It's victory of ballots over bullets; no setback to NDA'

Katni: Terming the election in Jammu and Kashmir as victory of ballots over bullets, Union Civil Supplies Minister Sharad Yadav has said that the results were not a setback for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as it had not contested the elections there.

"The results were, however, a setback for the BJP," Yadav told reporters on October 1 after taking part in the "sampoorna kranti rally" organised by to mark the birth centenary of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan.

The Janata Dal (U) president expressed satisfaction at the party's performance in the polls where it managed to win one seat.
