Biharsharif (Bihar): About 10 persons including a woman were killed and nine others
injured when a minibus collided head-on with a truck near Manglasthan on Patna-
Ranchi National Highway in Bihar's Nalanda district on October 13, police said.
The accident took place when the driver of the over-crowded minibus coming to
Biharsharif from Deepnagar lost control over the vehicle and dashed against a
speeding Ranchi-bound truck coming from the opposite direction.
About 10 persons, including the woman identified as Sheela Devi (30), died on the
spot, police said.
Nine persons, including an eight-year old child, were admitted to district sadar
hospital, Nalanda civil surgeon Ram Yatan Rai said.
The condition of five of them was stated to be critical.
