Ahmedabad: At least four persons were injured in a crude bomb explosion in a state
transport bus at the main bus terminus in Godhra town on October 15, police
said.
SP Narsimha Kumar told reporters over telephone that the blast took place at around
6 pm after most of the passengers had gotten off from the Adagra-Godhra bus.
The bomb was apparently planted in the rear end of the bus underneath a seat and the
explosion shattered the rear glass panes completely, he said.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital, he said adding they were out of
danger.
"There is no tension in the area and situation is very much under control," Kumar
said.
