New Delhi: Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will leave for the United States on October 21 for a comprehensive health check-up, it was officially announced on October 16 night.

Shekhawat had undergone a by-pass operation at a Cleveland hospital a few years ago.

He had a health check-up at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here and after following prescribed procedures, doctors here advised him to go to Cleveland for further treatment.
