3 NDFB ultras killed, arms, ammunition recovered

Guwahati: The Army on October 18 shot dead three activists of the banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) in Assam's Sonitpur district.

Official sources said, based on specific information, the troops raided an area under Rangapara police station where the militants were hiding.

As the ultras opened fire, the Army retaliated killing three insurgents.

One nine mm pistol, one carbine, one single barrel gun and assorted ammunition were recovered from the hideout.
