Mumbai: In the third incident of its kind, an 18-year-old tried to break into the residence of superstar Amitabh Bachchan at Juhu in North West Mumbai on October 21 night.

The teenager was arrested when he allegedly tried to enter the bedroom of the star's son, Abhishek Bachchan, police said on October 22. The intruder was suspected to be a fan of Bachchan, who hailed from Madhya Pradesh and was eager to have a look at the star.

Earlier, two persons were arrested on different occasions for trying to break into the house of the megastar. Bachchan has been provided high security following threats to his life.

The intruders had managed to get inside the house by jumping over the high wall surrounding the star's residence despite the tight security.
