Ahmedabad: The condition of National Security Guard (NSG) commando Surjan Singh
Bhandari, who was injured during the Akshardham operation to flush out terrorists,
was still critical.
"There is no improvement in his condition and he is continuing on artificial
respiratory system," according to Civil Hospital sources.
The commando, hailing from Uttaranchal, on treatment since September 25, has already
undergone multiple operations by neuro surgeons from Mumbai and Army Medical Corps,
Pune.
Meanwhile, a group of 'Garba' dancers at a local function on October 21 night prayed
for early recovery of the injured commando.
Another NSG commando Subedar Suresh Yadav from Manesar in Haryana and two state
