Vajpayee to receive Japan Premier's emissary
Tuesday, October 22 2002 10:19 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, who has been down with sore throat and had cancelled public engagements for the last two days, will on October 22 receive Yoshiro Mori, a special emissary of Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

Vajpayee will also chair the annual general body meeting of Nehru Memorial and Library at his official residence, a Prime Minister's Office (PMO) spokesman said.

However, the routine Cabinet meeting held on Tuesdays, does not appear to be on schedule.

Vajpayee will be going through files and attend to engagements which do not involve much of talking, he said.

Vajpayee returned to the capital on Sunday cutting short his visit to Lucknow due to bad throat.
