Chennai: The condition of Union Commerce Minister, Murasoli Maran, undergoing treatment for heart and other problems in the corporate Apollo Hospital for nearly one month, 'continues to be serious', according to hospital sources.

"There is no change in his condition and it has neither deteriorated nor improved," the sources said.

The hospital did not issue any bulletin on the health condition of the minister on October 23.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President M Karunanidhi, who visited the hospital, told reporters on October 23 night that there was no appreciable change in Maran's health condition.
