Moscow: In view of the grave situation arising out of the hostage crisis in Moscow which may spill over into hate campaign against non-Russians, the Indian Embassy in Moscow has closed Kendriya Vidyalaya till further notice and the Embassy staff has been advised to take extra precautions.

Around 20 gunmen declaring themselves to be Chechens took hundreds of people hostage in a Moscow theatre late October 23 night and threatened to blow up the building if security forces try to storm the premises.
