Guwahati: Three National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militants were killed in an encounter with the Army in lower Assam's Nalbari district on October 24, police sources said.

The extremists exchanged fire with the troops of the 16 Punjab Regiment at village Barnadi near Dangargaon under Tamulpur police station.

The slain ultras are yet to be identified, sources added.
