New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, suffering from viral infection since
October 20, is 'much better' on October 24 and will be meeting a Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) delegation led by its chief K S Sudarshan.
"A team of doctors examined the Prime Minister and was satisfied with the progress,"
a PMO spokesman said.
Meanwhile, sources said that besides the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister L K
Advani and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president M Venkaiah Naidu would also be
present at the meeting with RSS leaders K S Sudarshan, H Seshadri and Madandass
Devi.
The meeting with the RSS comes in the backdrop of growing differences between
the 'sangh parivar' and the BJP-led government, especially the strident criticism by
VHP, which has demanded removal of PM's principal secretary Brajesh Mishra.
RSS spokesman Ram Madhav said on October 23 night that it has no agenda from its
side, but the government may have some.
