Addressing a gathering on the second day of the seventh phase of Gaurav Yatra, Modi warned that "messengers of death" would be taught a severe lesson.

Modi said that his government would do everything to ensure peace and security in the state.

He also met several quake-affected persons in Bhuj and Anjar.

The yatra will cover eight Assembly segments before culminating in Rajkot on October 28.
