Ahmedabad: Stating that Gujarat government accorded high priority to safety and
security of the state and its people, Chief Minister Narendra Modi on October 27
warned those trying to disturb the peace will be dealt with sternly.
Addressing a gathering on the second day of the seventh phase of Gaurav Yatra, Modi
warned that "messengers of death" would be taught a severe lesson.
Modi said that his government would do everything to ensure peace and security in
the state.
He also met several quake-affected persons in Bhuj and Anjar.
The yatra will cover eight Assembly segments before culminating in Rajkot on October
28.
