UP MLAs shifted to Fategarh, remanded till Nov 8

Lucknow: The two independent Legislators in Uttar Pradesh, Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya and Dhananjay Singh, arrested on charges of threatening Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Puran Singh Bundela, were shifted to Fategarh jail in Farrukhabad on November 3 night, official sources said.

The two were produced before a magistrate on November 3 and were remanded to judicial custody till November 8.

Both the independent Legislatores were arrested after Bundela lodged a first information report (FIR) accusing them of threatening him with dire consequences if he did not return to dissidents' fold, police said.
