Dubai: Indians, seeking a visit visa to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will get it only if return tickets are attached with their applications.

The UAE has introduced a new rule making a return ticket mandatory for all applications seeking a visit visa for Indians, the 'Gulf News' reported.

Th new law has been enforced by the UAE immigration department, which has asked individuals and firms wanting visit visas to submit copy of return ticket, the report said quoting travel agents.

However, the prior purchase of return ticket was compulsory to obtain a visit visa to the UAE and a copy of the travel document had to be attached to the visa application form, official sources were quoted as saying.
