New Delhi: Delhi police on November 9 summoned Hari Krishna, an alleged eye-witness
who claims the Ansal Plaza encounter was fake, for questioning.
Serving summons on him while he was addressing a press conference at his residence
on November 9 morning, police said he was required to be questioned as newspapers
had quoted him to be an eye-witness to the encounter in which two terrorists were
gunned down.
Krishna, however, told reporters that he would not comply with the summons as he
feared threat to his life from police.
"I will only depose before a court or National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)," he
said.
Police is investigating whether Krishna was really present in the basement of the
posh South Delhi shopping mall when Lashker-e-Toiba terrorists were killed.
