Kathmandu: Security forces shot dead 30 Maoist rebels in the latest anti-terror campaign across Nepal, the Defence Ministry said on November 11.

The ultras were killed during search operations in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Jhapa, Palpa, Dadeldhura, Kailali Bardia, Kavrepalanchowk and Ramechhap district, the ministry said in a release.

Security forces recovered pistols, guns, socket bombs, country made explosives and documents during the operations in the past one week.
