Ahmedabad: Porbandar police have arrested Babu Mian, allegedly involved in 1993
Mumbai bomb blast, according to Porbandar police control room.
Babu Mian, who had been absconding since the blast and was wanted under Terrorist
and disruptive activities prevention Act (TADA) and Explosives Act, was nabbed on
November 12, the control room sources said.
He acted "as a courier for transporting RDX explosive used in the Mumbai blast",
police said.
Police said that acting on a tip off that Babu Mian would visit his house, the crime
branch personnel at Porbandhar kept a vigil and nabbed him when he arrived in the
evening.
Local Crime Branch and Mumbai police were jointly interrogating Babu Mian, police
added.
