New Delhi: Congress will release its first list of 108 candidates for Gujarat Assembly polls on November 18.

"We are ready with the list and will release the name of 108 candidates today," All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary, in-charge of party affairs in Gujarat, Kamal Nath said.

The party's Central Election Committee, headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, has already cleared the name of 140 candidates, he said.

The nominees for the remaining 42 seats would be decided soon by Gandhi.
