Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on November 22
condemned the killing of six CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) jawans in a militant
attack on a security camp near in Srinagar.
"It is a despicable act. Nothing can be achieved through such senseless killings.
Enough blood has been spilled in the state unnecessarily, compounding the problems of
the people," the Chief Minister said.
He said, "This unfortunate chapter of killings and mayhem must come to an end and all
of us should strive for it."
Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma also condemned the killing.
