Kochi: A three-day biennial India international seafood show will be held at Goa
from February 7, which would given an opportunity to seafood buyers and exporters to
interact and evolve strategies for mutual benefit.
The seafood show is being organised by the Marine Products Export Development
Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India and the
Seafood Exporters Association of India, an MPEDA release said on November 22.
This is the fist time the seafood fair is being organised in Goa. It had earlier
been held at Chennai, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Delhi and Kochi.
The major components of the event would be an exhibition in which the machine
manufacturers, input suppliers, feed manufacturers and processors would put up their
stalls to highlight the development taking place in the fisheries sector in India.
