New Delhi: Chief of Al-Umar Mujahideen Mushtaq Zargar alias Latram has reportedly been put under detention in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) for carrying out grenade attacks against separatist leaders in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, Zargar, whose outfit carried out a grenade attack outside the office of a senior Kashmiri separatist leader in the Valley recently, had been put under detention by authorities in PoK.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the outfit in the Valley identified as Rafiq Dar has told local news agencies that if their Commander was not released till Monday (Nov 25), they would announce a strike in the Valley.

Zargar is one of the three militants released in exchange for passengers of the hijacked IC-814 in 1999.
