Patna: Bihar Policemen Association's general secretary Jitendra Singh was on November 23 shot at and critically injured by unidentified assailants near new police lines premises in Patna ADG (Patna zone) Ashish Ranjan said.

The miscreants sprayed bullets at Singh when he was on a morning stroll.

Singh was immediately rushed to the Patna Medical college hospital (PMCH) where he was being operated upon.

His condition was stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, Bihar Police Association and Bihar Policemen association condemned the attack on Singh and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
