Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed condemned the killing of people, in a landmine blast at Lower Manda on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on November 23.

Describing it a "senseless" act, he said, "Such acts of violence and bloodshed need to be condemned by all right thinking persons. Nothing can be achieved through bloodshed."

Expressing concern over frequent mine blasts on Jammu- Srinagar highway threatening the lives of the passengers, the Chief Minister asked the security forces and the police to take adequate measures to prevent such incidents.
