Srinagar: Militants on November 23 made an abortive bid to blow up the BSF (Border Security Force) Battalion Headquarters in Srinagar firing four rifle grenades, which exploded in the compound but did not cause any damage to life or property.

The grenades were fired in quick successions from a distance at the Headquarters in Karan Nagar, official sources said.
