Curfew being lifted from tonight in Jammu
Monday, November 25 2002 22:56 Hrs (IST)

Jammu: The authorities have decided to lift the curfew from 23:00 hours on November 25, an official spokesman said in Jammu.

There will be no curfew in the city on November 26, he said, adding, however all educational institutions will remain closed.

Curfew was imposed in Jammu on November 24 night in the wake of terrorist attacks on the historic Raghunath and Shiva temples in which 12 people were killed and 54 others injured.

Two terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba, which owned responsibility for the attack, were also gunned down by the security forces.
