MQM decides to sit in Oppn in Pak Parliament
Islamabad: In a sudden move, 17-member strong Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on November 27 decided to sit in the Opposition in Pakistan's Parliament, putting a question mark on the survival of newly-formed civilian government headed by Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali which is holding a razor-thin majority.

Islamabad: Maintaining that participation by Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) summit here in January could pave the way for reducing tensions between the two countries, Pakistan on November 26 said it would take all steps necessary to improve ties with India.
