Chennai: Tamil activist Kolathur Mani, who has been given conditional bail by the Karnataka High Court, will be arrested if he came to Tamil Nadu as there were five cases pending against him in the state, official sources said.

"As far as we are concerned, Mani is an accused in five cases, including the Rajkumar abduction case, in Tamil Nadu and he will be certainly arrested if he comes to Tamil Nadu," the sources said.

On the arrest of Revolutionary Youth League activists, a naxalite group in Dharmapuri district, the sources said police had arrested 25 volunteers, including five women. One of them was shot dead during an encounter on November 24. All the arrested were from Dharmapuri and neighbouring districts, they said.

Police was investigating the possible links between the RYL and the Andhra Pradesh- based People's War Group (PWG), the sources said.
