Chennai: Tamil activist Kolathur Mani, who has been given conditional bail by the
Karnataka High Court, will be arrested if he came to Tamil Nadu as there were five
cases pending against him in the state, official sources said.
"As far as we are concerned, Mani is an accused in five cases, including the
Rajkumar abduction case, in Tamil Nadu and he will be certainly arrested if he comes
to Tamil Nadu," the sources said.
On the arrest of Revolutionary Youth League activists, a naxalite group in
Dharmapuri district, the sources said police had arrested 25 volunteers, including
five women. One of them was shot dead during an encounter on November 24. All the
arrested were from Dharmapuri and neighbouring districts, they said.
Police was investigating the possible links between the RYL and the Andhra Pradesh-
based People's War Group (PWG), the sources said.
