Guj polls: Bitterness outshone bread and butter?

Mufti arrives in Delhi for talks with Centre
New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed arrived in New Delhi on December 1 on a three-day visit during which he would call on Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and other Union ministers.

Assam villagers mistakenly kill 2 Army personnel
Guwahati: Armed villagers in Assam's Kamrup district killed an Army Major and a jawan of the Assam Regiment mistaking them to be militants and in a reprisal six, of the villagers were shot down and eight injured by the Army personnel on December 1.
