Hearing on Quattrocchi case adjourned till Dec 5
Kuala Lumpur: A Malaysian High Court on December 4 adjourned till December 5 a petition challenging a lower court verdict rejecting a plea for extradition of Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi to India to stand trial in Bofors payoff case but restrained him from leaving the country till the case was over.

UNGA asks Israel to withdraw from Arab lands
United Nations: Concerned over sufferings and casualties caused by continuing violence in the Middle East, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has called for withdrawal of Israeli forces from all Arab lands it occupied after 1967 war and "commitment to vision" of separate Palestine and Israeli states existing side by side.

US-Russia clash over extending Iraq import list
