New Delhi: There were lighter moments in the Lok Sabha on December 5 when Speaker
Manohar Joshi remarked he was an 'anti-collision device' to prevent clash between
members and ministers.
He made the observation during Question Hour, when Naresh Pugalia (Congress) asked
Railway Minister Nitish Kumar a question, to which a visibly annoyed minister said
the query had no link to the main question, which pertained to anti-collision
device.
Petroleum Minister Ram Naik sought to cool frayed tempers saying the chair should be
the 'anti-collision device'.
Joshi remarked, "I am anti-collision device and I will prevent collision between
members and ministers."
