New Delhi: Mafia don Anees Ibrahim, an accused in Mumbai serial blasts and brother of Dawood Ibrahim, has been arrested in Dubai.

Anees was believed to have been arrested on the basis of an Interpol "red corner notice" against him.

Sources close to Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani said a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) official was on his way to Dubai in an attempt to get Anees back to India.

Advani may make a statement in Parliament on the issue.
