Bangalore: STF (Special Task Force) personnel have ventured into jungles following
reports that one more body has been found near Chengadi forests in Chamarajnagar
district, a senior police official said.
"We have despatched our people to the forests", Karnataka Additional Director General
of Police (Law and Order) Subhash Bharani said in Bangalore, adding, there was no
confirmation so far that a body has been recovered.
Two days ago, the body of JD-U (Janata Dal-United) leader H Nagappa, who was killed
while in the custody of forest brigand Veerappan, was recovered from Chengadi
forests.
