Kolkata: Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Banerjee was admitted to a Kolkata nursing home following chest pain on December 9.

Banerjee, whose car had a minor accident on December 8 complained of pain following which she was taken to the nursing home, Trinamool Congress general secretary Madan Mitra said.

Doctors attending her said that a CT scan might be done on her on December 10.
