New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on December 11 asserted "no concrete"
steps have been taken on the proposal for trilateral friendship among India, China
and Russia.
During the recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to India, "no collective
discussion" took place on this issue, he said.
Vajpayee was responding to clarifications in the Rajya Sabha on his suo moto
statement on Putin's state visit to India early this month.
Though this proposal came up during the meeting of foreign ministers of these three
countries in New York, "no concrete steps have been taken after that", he said.
