Top luminaries of nation condole Palkhivala's death

Mumbai: Luminaries from the world of politics and business condoled the death of N A Palkhivala and said the country had lost a multi-faceted personality.

A V Birla group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said,"Palkhivala was an institution by himself".

Congress M P Murli Deora said, "The country has lost a great human being." Deora said Palkhivala was a champion of all the deserving causes.

Vijay Kalantri, president of All India Association of Industries, said, "Palkhivala was not only an authority of Constitution of India but also fought cases for public causes." He will always be remembered for his post-budget speeches.

"His simplicity and humane qualities has touched one and all," Kalantri said.
