Srinagar: In a pre-dawn attack, militants fired several rifle grenades and exchanged
heavy fire with security forces camping at Gagran village in shopian area of Pulwama
district in South Kashmir on December 13, official sources said.
Militants fired about six rifle grenades towards a joint camp of police and Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and then fired at it indiscriminately.

camp causing no harm.
Heavy gunfire rattled the entire area for nearly half-an-hour following the attack
on the camp, the sources said.
The militants managed to escape after the attack, the sources said adding that a
hunt has been launched to nab them.
