Tirupati: As part of providing surveillance and security to the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD), the administrators of the temple, is contemplating to set up bullet-proof glass enclosures close to the shrine.

TTD executive officer Ajeya Kallam told reporters that four lane automatic electronic gates would also be erected in the place of existing manual gates at the foot of the hills and at the entrance atop the hills.
