
New Delhi: Two suspected Pakistani militants were shot dead in the wee hours of
December 14 by Delhi police while they were moving in the suburbs of South Delhi.
Acting on a tip off, the special cell of Delhi police chased a group of men
travelling in a car near Tughlaqabad fort area in South Delhi, police sources said.
After a brief chase, two persons, suspected to be of Pakistani origin, were killed
while another is reported to have escaped.
Police recovered two AK-47s, some hand grenades, some magazines and other documents
from the car.
It may be mentioned that some offices of Indian Air Force and paramilitary,
including Border Security Force (BSF), are located in the area.
