New Delhi: Scenes of jubilation were witnessed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi as reports of its victory in Gujarat as also in the bye- elections in Rajasthan poured in.

Large number of jubilant party workers burst crackers, beat drums and raised slogans.

Many of them went around distributing sweets as top party leaders including Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, party president M Venkaiah Naidu and Arun Jaitley exchanged greetings with the workers.

With every report of BJP winning a seat in Gujarat, a fresh round of applause, sloganeering and burst of crackers could be heard.
