Jammu: One person was killed and five others were injured when some militants threw a
grenade near a market place in Rajouri town of Jammu and Kashmir this evening (Dec
16), official sources said in Jammu.
The sources told reporters that militants threw a grenade in the busy market place
near JK cooperative bank in Rajouri district around 18:35 hours on December
16.
The grenade exploded with a bang resulting in injuries to six people, the sources
said adding one of them died on way to hospital.
However, the militants, who hurled the grenade managed to flee from the site, the
sources said adding that some damage had been caused to adjoining buildings and
shops.
