Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna has assured railway authorities of
all possible assistance for providing relief to the families of victims and
passengers of the ill-fated Bangalore-bound train which derailed near
Ramalingayapalli in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district, official sources said.
Krishna has also directed Minister for Small Scale Industries Roshan Baig to co-
ordinate with the railway authorities to render assistance for relief and other
operations, the sources said.
The sources said soon after coming to know of the accident, Krishna spoke over phone
to railway authorities in Delhi, enquired about the mishap and assured whatever help
the state could provide.
