Railway names 2 victims of Kurnool tragedy

Bangalore: The railway authorities in Bangalore have released the names of two of the passengers who died in the rail accident near Ramalingayapalli village in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district.

The deceased were identified as Mohankumar, Bangalore, and Venkatanarayana, Hyderabad, railway sources said.

Following is the list of persons injured in the mishap.

The names as released by the railway authorities are: Nahida (Bangalore), Nandacharya (Secunderabad), Srinivasa Rao (Chilakunagunda), Guruprasad Rao (Bangalore), Satyanarayana, Mohammad Yusuf, P Narasing, Vijayasimha (Ananthpur), Rataf Ali, Satish Kumar, Rayamallu, Pillappa (Kollar taluk), Ganganna (Dharmavaram), Adiappa (Tumkur), Kalini (Bidar), R M Reddy (Guntakal), Yusuff (Hyderabad), Devaiah, Hanumanta Reddy (Hyderabad), Channa Basha, Hari Krishna (Bangalore), Venkata Rao (Ananthpur), Venkatasubbaiah (Secunderabad), Hanumaiah (Guntakal) Abudul Matheen, S V Basha and Narayanamma (Chintamani).
