Nepalese PM ready to hold dialogue with Maoists

Kathmandu: Nepalese Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand has said that his government was ready to hold dialogue with Maoist rebels.

He stated this while addressing a function on December 20.

The Prime Minister also pointed out the need to bring consensus among all political parties to maintain peace and security in the country by ending violence.

He appealed to all the parties to rise above party interests for the benefit of the country.
