Indore: Vice-President Bhaironsingh Shekhawat on December 21 described the winter session of Parliament as "historic" as it concluded on December 20 without any hurdle.

"It is for the first time in Parliamentary history that the session of both its Houses concluded without any problem," Shekhawat said while delivering a lecture organised by Indore Press Club.

"Nobody rushed into the Well of the House in protest and behaved as per the laid- down norms of the Parliament," the Vice-President, who is chairman of Rajya Sabha, said, adding it is historic and will go a long way in the annals of Parliamentary Democracy.
