Jammu: Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani would arrive here on December 27 to take
stock of the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said on
December 23.
Advani is scheduled to address the meeting of unified command, which is responsible
for maintenance

of law and order and anti-terrorist operations in the state, sources
said.
The unified command is headed by the Chief Minister and includes 15 corps commanders
responsible for operations in Kashmir, and 16 for Jammu, besides officials of state
police and intelligence agencies.
The meeting will take stock of the security situation and is expected to assess anti-
militancy operations, they added.
The visit comes at a time when militants are targeting women and children over past
four days.
Four women and three children have been killed by ultras.
