Monday, December 30 2002 15:56 Hrs (IST)

Moscow: The Indo-Russian Summit in New Delhi earlier this month (December) has confidently confirmed the high-level of strategic partnership between the two countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

In his New Year greetings to Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Putin has said the year 2002 was "very saturated and fruitful" for the Russian-Indian cooperation, the Kremlin press service said.

"Our recent talks in Delhi once again confidently confirmed the high-level of strategic partnership between Russia and India," Putin wrote to Vajpayee.
